I ordered a rug from Overstock which was frayed. I requested and received authorization to return the rug. However, the rug was infested with bed bugs and therefore, infested my home.

i ordered something from Overstock and it was supposed to be delivered in 3 days. It never arrived so the day after I called to see why?

They informed me it was on its way. A couple of days later I looked up tracking number and it shows it never shipped and when I called they said it had shipped but UPS lost it and would I like to order it again. They literally blamed UPS and threw them under the bus!! I told the rep that I have an emali from them showing it had been shipped.

SILENCE. I say I cant do business with unethical people please refund. Its been a week and today I called and they told me they are investigating the matter and I could expect refund in 5 days. Its been 3 weeks since I ordered.

DO NOT business with these people as they are beyond UNETHICAL. BTW not the first time --its my 2nd and last time.

I have all chats saved and phone calls so all can be validated. I have never seen such unethical behavior from a company.

This review is not with the product, but how it was delivered to me. I purchased a $1,200.00 dollar dining table, it is rather large and heavy. When my table was delivered, it was one older woman that apparently had physical limitations that was expected to deliver the order without help, she was not able to handle the job. She explained to me that she was not being paid to move the order any closer than the curb. I had to move the table from the street, up the front steps and into the house by myself. I will not ever order anything from Overstock larger than a light bulb again.

I ordered some furniture here, what really angers me now is that I could have avoided being screwed by buying the same furniture from Amazon where they have at least an ethical return policy and would have acknowledged they put the wrong dimensions on the website.

Received rug that was 3 inches too short in some areas as this was an 8 ft diameter. The rug was not a taupe color as indicated. It has a green hue to it. The customer rep offered a $19.00 plan that would allow me to return up to 3 items a month for a year without any additional charges. He then said he would not give me my money back but would give me a store credit. Otherwise I pay $128.00 for a shipping label. That amount is subtracted from the total cost I paid for the rug.

Received rug and found it was wrong color and 3 inches short in some areas since it is supposed to be 8 ft in diameter. Customer service rep told me I had to pay $128.00 for a return label. I could opt for another option to buy a $19.00 plan where I can return 3 products a month for a year without paying Return shipping. Then when I return the rug, I get a credit to buy something else. This is all absurd!

Chandelier came with a bad surprise

I have bought many nice things from Overstock, but recently I traced a bedbug infestation to a chandelier I brought from them. I am still in the process of getting rid of them with an expensive exterminator. I would be interested in forming a group to obtain compensation.

The money I lost totaled $575 for the exterminator and $100 for SayByeBugs spray (3 bottles). In addition I had to throw out a fairly new mattress and a loveseat which was in very good condition, and which I planned on having for years.

Overstock basically denied responsibility since I didn't have pictures of bugs walking on the chandelier.

They basically gave me some B S but I didn't try to hard to argue, since I really don't have proof. I won't be a repeat customer.

Computer contamination by Overstock

I made purchases at Overstock. During the visit to the Overstock website i was bombarded with annoying pop up ads that interfered with attempts to complete the transaction. I finally completed the purchases. I noticed afterwards that these same annoying pop up ads followed me to any website I visited. I believe Overstock.com has created this relationship as I did not knowingly agree to receive adds after I left their website. I tried deleting cookies but this did not solve the problem. I complained to Overstock but they were no help. Still working on fixing this mess.

Ripped off $250! PLEASE READ My Christmas is ruined and overstock denys mistake

I ordered my wife diamond stud earrings for Christmas. (Yes I know it dumb to order Jewelry off the internet) But my leg is broke and I cannot drive which I explained to the Overstock rep.

Now I do not know how many of you are married but I have been so for 21 years. Early in that time my wife made it clear she hates white gold with a passion. Since I want to keep my manhood I ordered her earrings in yellow gold set earrings. Yes I know you guessed Overstock sent white gold.

When I went to return them representative claimed I selected white gold and would have to pay the return fees. I explained that was not possible after 21 years. I ask the rep from cat-man-doo (or wherever overstock is hiring slave labor for 5 cents a day) if he was married and if he would make that mistake? Dead silience for 30 seconds and then "you will have to pay the fees sir" no I apologize but or Overstock sucks so you must pay.

I told (no I did not yell nor was I rude in case your wondering.) very well but you have lost a customer. Then the jerk had the nerve to say "Merry Christmas" before cutting line.

User's recommendation: Avoid Overstock go to Amazon or Walmart.com instead. They make mistakes too but at least they fix them.
