I have been dealing with a nightmare with a table and I am getting nowhere with customer service . I finally get my 1200$+ dining table set slammed down on my driveway I wait for my floors in the house to be laid down and built the table last week only to find one chair is missing the threads to screw the screws in and the table top is completely scratched on one side.

I work at a 911 center long hours and hardly have time to call customer service repeatedly or deal with this.

I will be contacting corporate or better business bureau if I have too next I want to cry my table is not what I expected and I dont have 1200 to just throw around for damaged products Im not rich. I would hope their company would at least refund me some of the money for the hassle because now I have to sand and spray paint the tabletop to hide the scratches and I have to go ask Home Depot to help me find the threads to insert in this chair.

$53 to return Two pillows that didnt look anything like the picture.

Each pillow is $44 so shipping is more than what one of them is worth.

When I purchased the pillows it said free shipping for returns.

Then they're telling me that if I pay for shipping, I should buy insurance on it, and pay for a tracking number to track it, and that they might charge me fees when they receive the package, that wasnt taken out of the original package, I just did a little slit in the shipping package to see if it was the right pillow and it wasnt.

They have a location right near my home and they wont allow me to drop it off there, to avoid shipping costs.

I bought the same brand of pillows same size and everything for only $25 each at HomeGoods.

Walmart had the same pillow that I wanted and they also had the barcode that originally came on the pillow, which made it easy to find, but they were out of stock and they were only selling it for $35

No directions

I ordered this bookcase for my great-grandson for Christmas, it was too small so they gave it to me for my house. I opened it and no directions.

I called customer service and because of the time for which I ordered it they wouldnt request directions (from China). I didnt ask for a refund, only directions.

Ordered copper faucet

The faucet was $160.00 more than Wayfair. Asked Overstock why the price difference.

They said I had to join O to get price matching, but, that wasnt available for me. The order could not be cancelled or refunded. I waited for the order and my contractor had to leave. Clearly, the goal at Overstock, was to get paid.

When it finally arrived, it was too late. We had ordered and installed the faucet that was available. Overstock next charged me an excessive return fee. Done with them!

I returned a 50 lb.

sink for less than a 2 lb faucet. Gauging!

Order delivery is no where near accurate and they have no intention of making it better. They advertise a multitude of products as if in their stock but they send all orders to manufacturers and have no clue if product is in stock. Poor management idea and customer left without any follow up

Received my order wasnt the right size 2 boxes was opened one of them was opened inside the truck and parts are laying all over the floor they had to be the part separately and put wrap around the other boxes im in process of resolving this matter

I ordered a Electric fireplace and when it arrived plugged it in and it makes noise. so I called and they ordered to send me a new one out, got the new one yesterday took it out of the box today plugged it in it makes noise.

So yes I am kinda upset for all the aggravation. No I dont only have one to send back I have two to send back.

I found some lovely pillows on your website that I really really really wanted. I ordered three sets of the pillows.

When I receive the pillows they were not the pillows that I had ordered. I returned those pillows and ordered the pillows that I had wanted. Once again I received the same wrong pillows as before. I called and talk to a representative explain the situation and ask her to check to be sure what I was ordering was in stock.

She affirmed the pillows I wanted was in stock. She ordered them for me and they arrived immediately. But to my other surprise they were not the correct pillows either.

Overstock has spent money to return nine packages sent to my house with the wrong items inside. Thats pretty ridiculous.

And you have wasted my time as a customer having to return the packages to the UPS store.

And worst I still do not have the pillows that I wanted.

It seems the people working in the warehouse would match up the style numbers with each other before shipping something out. I assumed they had a picture of the item since you sent me a picture of the item with my confirmation.

This is very disappointing

I purchased a 70.9 console table and other items that amounted to almost $1000. In this climate, times are hard and people don't have money to just throw away like that.

Anyway, the console arrived, and we took one piece out and measured it, and it was too long, so I went online to overstock where it was purchased, started a return. They routed me to a seller who I ended up going back and for with him about the return shipping label. He kept resending the same message stating check with USPS to see what the shipping cost will bear on you and ship it to this name and this address and provide us with tracking number. When I checked, I found out that the shipping cost will be $250 for an item that we paid $192 for.

I sent the seller a message using Overstock again because they're the one relaying the message and waited for a reply. 2 days later nothing and when I called Overstock back the first customer service representative was shocked that the seller wanted me to take up the shipping and told me on those recorded calls that she sent a message to the seller to provide me with a shipping label within 2 days. 2 days past, nothing again. I called them back and was on the phone with them for almost an hour.

First, the representative went on to tell me that they cannot process a refund without the seller's permission. Mind you, I did not buy the item from the seller directly, I purchased it from Overstock.com. After being irritated and being put on hold a few times. I asked for the manager who went on to tell me there is nothing they can do, his suggestion is for me to lug a 45lb item to different shipping places to shop for prices and even after telling him that I have checked prices to return the item and the least expensive one would cost us $100 in shipping.

So, if I decide to foot the shipping bill I will have in all a refund of about $92 because I paid $192 and having to pay return shipping of $100 to return the item directly to a seller that I did not directly purchase the item from. Not only am I stuck with this item, I don't know what to do. I am beyond disappointed with overstock and their customer service that I will never return to them.

I also decided that I will return everything else I purchased from them on that invoice, and the manager made sure to tell me that they will deduct shipping on all those items. He does not need to work in retail or anywhere else dealing with customers.

User's recommendation: Do not buy from Overstock unless you want to be stuck paying a return shipping worth more the price you pay for the item. If the item comes from a seller even though you ordered it from Overstock, they will not return it. They will have you stuck with dealing with “market place seller directly and what that seller decides that’s what you’re stuck with.

If it says you can pay by PayPal, you should be able to. That's why I tried to place an order because it says I can pay by PayPal.

However, there is no way to pay by PayPal. It shows PayPal, but there is no button next to PayPal to enable you to pay through PayPal. So they really shouldn't be showing that you can pay that way.

P. S.

This was for an international order. However, they DO have an international site where supposedly you CAN pay by PayPal.
